UPDATE: LG KC910 to be released as LG Renoir
.
LG have announced an 8MP Camera phone which is said to be successor to the popular LG KU990 Viewty. The LG KC910’s 8MP camera is equipped with autofocus, face detection plus smile and blink detection, built-in Xenon flash and image stabiliser plus Schneider-Kreuznach optics, pretective cover and camera geo-tagging capabilities. Videos are recorded at 720 x 480 pixels with 30fps and 120fps in slow motion.
LG have revamped the User Interface and installed a 3″ WVGA 240 x 400 resolution touchscreen in direct response to the fierce competition now being displayed by the likes of Sony Ericsson and Samsung, with the announcement of their latest 8MP camera phones the Sony Ericsson C905 and Samsung Innov8, when it comes to delivering high quality camera phones with high end features. Slightly slimmer than its competition at 14mm, the LG KC910, otherwise known as LG Renoir after the French artist, should be available sometime in October.
A Quad Band GSM device with GPRS and EDGE technology, the LG KC910 Renoir is 3G HSDPA enabled for speeds of up to 7.2Mbps and comes with WiFi connectivity. The microSD card expansion available will provide as much as 8GB of storage capacity in addition to the internal user memory.
Other high end features of the LG Renoir include a secondary videocall camera, MP3 Music player and a built-in GPS. Further key elements are stereo bluetooth, TV output, document viewer, phonebook with photocall, web browser and email, all of which help to make up the superb functionality and overall power of abilities offered by the LG Renoir KC910.
